𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐲 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬 🎰 Earlier this week, deputies were informed of a wanted subject, identified a 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐬 Justin Taveras, who was inside of an arcade on Beau Drive in North Fort Myers. A quick search by deputies found that Taveras had an active warrant for being in possession of a firearm as a convicted felon. When deputies responded to the arcade, Taveras immediately exited the building and fled the area in a vehicle. Deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle, but Taveras accelerated to a high rate of speed. He was then seen pulling into a hotel on North Cleveland Avenue, where he exited the vehicle and ran into the hotel. With the assistance of our k9 deputies, we secured the area and began to search for Taveras throughout the property. Taveras was located hiding in a hallway tucked behind an ice machine. While being detained, deputies located a pill bottle with various forms of narcotics in his possession.
